John L. Bussell, age 55, of New Tazewell, was born May 5, 1950 and passed away February 10, 2006 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Joseph Scott Bussell; parents: Theodore and Mary Elizabeth (Pierce) Bussell; sister, Beulah Bussell Lankford.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Deborah Kay (Keller) Bussell of New Tazewell; daughters: Shelia Kay (Bussell) Price and husband, Jamie of Harrogate, Chrystal Diane (Bussell) Ballew and husband, Dwayne of Speedwell, Christy Robin Martin Day and husband, Adam of Tazewell; son, John Travis Bussell of New Tazewell; sisters: Shirley Bussell Laws of Arthur, Jewell Bussell Moyers of Las Vegas, Nv; brothers: Bud Bussell of Speedwell, Billy Bussell of Clinton, Michael Bussell of Tazewell and Tony Bussell of Arthur; grandchildren: Hannah Rose Price, Halie Morgan Price, Kayla Le Ann Ballew and Ricky Day; several uncles, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Chapman officiating. Music will be provided by Brenda Bertram, Donnie Massengill and Mac McSwain. Burial will follow in the Irish Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers: Randy Waldroop, Mark Laws, Johnny Keller, Michael Keller, Bradley Keller and Shawn Bussell.
