Registration will take place at the Hardee's in Tazewell from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The cost will be $35 per child, for children ages 5-16.
VFW "Guys and Dolls" Dart Tournament
The VFW Post 8779 will be hosting their "Guys and Dolls Dart tournament on Friday, Feb. 24th at 8 p.m. sharp!
North American Youth Sport Youth Basketball Tournament
North American Youth Sports announced today that they will hold their annual spring youth basketball tournament in the Knoxville area at Seymour High School on April 21-23, 2006.
This tournament will feature 10 different brackets. They include 5th-6th grade boys; 5th-6th grade girls; 7th grade boys; 7th grade girls; 8th grade boys; 8th grade girls; 9th-10th grade boys; 9th10th grade girls; 11th-12th grade boys; and 11th-12th grade girls. All grades are based on the grade in which a student is currently enrolled.
The entry fee for this tournament Is $95 and guarantees each team a minimum of two games. There will be awards presented in each bracket.
The entry deadline is March 31, 2006.

Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp
Applications are now being evaluated for The Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The Camp is by Invitation Only. Boys and Girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply.
Past participants include: Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Caner, Jerry Stackhouse, Grant Hill and Antawn Jamison. Players from 50 states and 18 Foreign Countries attended the 2005 Camp.
College Basketball Scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American Team. Camp Locations Include Lebanon, Tenn., Babson Park, Fla., Gainesville, Ga., Hickory, N.C., and Blacksburg, Va.

VFW Dart Tournament - New Format
The VFW Post 8779's Blind Draw Dart tournaments will be held on Thursday and Friday nights starting at 8 p.m. sharp!
On Thursday night each winner will receive one point (per game won) towards the points tournament.
Starting immediately the Friday night tournament players will receive two points (per game won) towards the points tournament.
Claiborne County Rescue Squad Bass Tournament
The Claiborne County Rescue Squad Fifth Annual Bass Fishing Tournament scheduled for Saturday, April 8th at Cedar Grove Boat Dock - Highway 33 South - North of Claiborne/Union County Line. Prizes: First - $550; Second $450; Third $350; Fourth $300; and Fifth $150. Entry fee is $40 per boat.

The Claiborne County Rescue Squad is a non-paid volunteer emergency department whose volunteers spend many hours of their personal time conducting emergency operations, training, vehicle and building maintenance, and fund raising activities in order to help those in need.
