Speedwell, Tenn.- America ‘Ann' Taylor Inman, 82, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Claiborne County Hospital.

Born Feb. 9, 1924, in Harlan County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Taylor and Bertha Smith Taylor. She believed in the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Daniel Inman; 10 brothers: William “Bill” Taylor, Oscar Taylor, Hobert Taylor, Walter Taylor, Tillman Taylor, Enoch Taylor, Harvey Taylor, Leroy Taylor, Paris Taylor and Henry Taylor; and one sister, Reethy Taylor Morris.

She is survived by her only son, Ira N. and wife, Kara Inman, Speedwell; two grandsons, Christopher Inman and Joshua Inman, and one granddaughter, Ashley Inman, all of Speedwell; one brother, Jack Taylor, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friend, Ruby Carroll of Speedwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at Reece Valley Chapel with the Rev. Mark Bayless officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenhills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Christopher and Joshua Inman, along with Theodore VanBever, Jake Bayless, Robbie Parks and Anthony Keck.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel 869-3651 or 626-4249.
