COLLUMBIA, S.C. — Margaret K. Miller Wilson, 82, passed away, Friday, April 8, 2011, in Columbia.

Born July 18, 1928, at Four Mile, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Miller and Rachel Edna Patterson Miller. She was a nurse, homemaker and a Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Wilson; sisters, Adelia Miller Brine, Bessie Miller Good, and June Miller Cruse, brothers, Glendon, Norman Van, Herbert , Clarence, Earl and Clayton “Pete” Miller.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Wilson Purdom and husband Robert, Joshua, Texas, and Edna Wilson Geoghegan and husband Charlie, Chapin, S.C.; four grandchildren, Amanda McDaniel and husband Bryan, Burleson Texas, Bryce Purdom, McKinney, Texas, Rachel Geoghegan, Chapin, S.C., and Kevin Geoghegan, Chapin, S.C.; two great-granddaughters, Abigail and Sarah McDaniel, Burleson, Texas; two sisters, Virginia Sweet and Ruby Bohannon of Tennessee; one brother, Willard “Buck” Miller of Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Pineville Memorial Gardens.
