Spring City, Tenn. - Charles E “Guitar Man” Saylor, 36, passed away Tuesday Aug. 1, 2006, from injuries sustained after being struck by an automobile.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Wayne Vestal.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Johnson Vestal; his father, Charlie Saylor; five brothers, Tony Lee Vestal and wife Gaye of Whitwell, Tenn., David Vestal of Chattanooga, Tenn., Robin Vestal, Lonnie and Donnie Saylor all of Spring City, Tenn.; a sister, Cecelia Westberry of Chattanooga, Tenn.; his uncles, Bennie and Clarence Johnson both of Teetersville, Ernest Johnson of Florida, Bobby and Eugene Saylor, both of Indiana, and Terrell Saylor of Ohio; his aunts, Effie Coffman and Nadine Helton of Spring City, Tenn., Eva J. Blum of Florida, and Joanie Collett of London; 27 nieces and nephews, 31 great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at Cawood Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Jerry Collins, the Rev. Arnold Saylor, Pastor Tony Vestal and Dan Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery at Teetersville.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Cawood Pentecostal Church.
