PINEVILLE - James Russell “Jimmy” Partin, 40, passed Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at his home.

Born Jan. 27, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Mary Ellen Miller and James Russell Partin I.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Joe Miller; and a nephew, Christopher Miracle.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Ellen Miller, Pineville; father, James Russell Partin I, Middlesboro; wife, Rebecca Partin, Pineville; daughters, Jessica Partin, Pineville, and Hailey Patricia Partin, Pineville; son, James “Jim” Russell Partin III, Pineville; granddaughter, Cassidy Mosley, Pineville; brother, Tex (Freida Baldwin) Hoskins, Pineville; sisters, Alice (Tony) Harris, Ferndale, and Sheila (Brian) Shomber, Colorado; nieces, Jennifer Miracle, Megan and Tori Harris, Kimberly Hatfield, and Rebecca Denny; nephews, Jamie Hoskins, Mark Hoskins, and Anthony Denny; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ferndale Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Walter Brock and the Rev. Donnie Buell presiding. Music will be by Ronnie Carey.

Interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Tom Davis, Johnny Thomas, Toby Ferrell, Danny Collinger, Jeremy Hoskins, John Hoskins.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. Saturday at Ferndale Pentecostal Church.
