Nora E. "Tina" Yoakum, age 60, of Cumberland Gap, was born July 31, 1946 in Middlesboro, Ky. and passed away October 2, 2006 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father: Herbert Powers; two infant brothers; one grandson: Michael Yoakum.

Survivors include husband: J.C. Yoakum Sr. of Cumberland Gap; mother: Mamie Helton Powers; son: J.C. 'Pete' Yoakum Jr. and wife Vickie of North Carolina; daughters: Patty Alonzo of Ft. Wayne, In., Joyce Yoakum of Cumberland Gap; brothers: Roy and Hubert Powers of Middleboro, Ky.; sisters: Rose Martin of Pace, Fl., Mary Thacker of Cumberland Gap; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were Wednesday, October 4 at 2 p.m. at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Randy Duncan officiating. Music by Dora Duncan. Burial in the Yoakum Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Ron Rutherford, Calvin Weaver, Calvin Weaver Jr., Roy Thacker, Billy Thacker, and Doug Thacker.
