Born July 14, 1952 in Harlan County, she was the daughter of Walter Brewer of Middlesboro and the late Mable Brewer Smith. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Georgia.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Marie Collins; a brother, Harold Fields; her stepfather, Jim Fields; and an aunt, Mossie Brutshie.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her stepmother, Beaulah Brewer of Middlesboro; a son, C.J. (Sherry) Couch of Cleveland, Ga.; two daughters Libby Diane (Chris) Brock of Clayton, Ga., and Kathy Michelle (Richard) Miracle of Cumberland Gap, Tenn.' four sisters, Sereda Brewer, Teresa Brewer Eldridge and Darlene Brewer Wyrick, all of Middlesboro, and Judy Ann Fields of Toca, Ga.; three brothers, Michael Fields and Steve Brewer, both of Middlesboro, and Larry Wayne Collins of Columbus, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Henry Carl Couch III, Libby Faith Couch, Eli Bye, Clyde Bruce Abbott, Allen Russell Abbott, Kristen Brock, Richard Tyler Miracle and Jessie James Miracle; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Chelsea Abbott; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Creech Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Ben Ingram presiding. Interment will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jake Mason, Jamie Merida, Jeff Mason, Bruce Abbott, Michael Fields II, James Couch, john Couch, Johnny Couch and Richard Miracle.
