He was born in Harlan County, Ky., on Feb. 17, 1976, and was the son of Bill Parker Sr. and the late Opal Mayes.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Shumate; four children, Caleb, Brandon, Brooke, and Alex Parker; four brothers, George Bruce, Chuck Bruce, David Parker, and Ralph Mayes, III; one sister, Sharon Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Sunday, March 25, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Murphy Buell presiding.
Burial will be in Elydale Cemetery, Ewing, Va.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Shumate Funeral Home.
