Waymon and Annette Robbins of Tazwell, Tenn., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nichole Robbins to Eric Fortner, son of Edwin and Donna Fortner of Morristown, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Allie and the late Carl Smith of Tazwell, and the late Eva and Chester Robbins of Middlesborough. A 2001 graduate of Bell County High School in Pineville, she is employed by A Healthier Weigh Weight Loss in Knoxville, Tenn., as the office manager

Her fiance is the grandson of Robert and Lee Southerland of Kingsport, Tenn., and the late Stuart and Cathren Fortner of Bristol, Tenn. A 2001 graduate of Morristown Hamblen High School West, he is also a 2007 graduate of the Northeast Tennessee Fire Training Academy. He is employed as a firefighter by the Jefferson City Fire Department.

The ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Victory Worship Center in Harrogate, Tenn. All friends and family are invited to attend.
