HARROGATE, Tenn. — Dorothy Irene Bradford, 86, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Claiborne County Hospital.

She attended the House of God Worship Center for the past several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Bradford; two daughters, Irene Lambert and Malinda Bradford; parents, Bob and Stella Brown; sister, Alley Lee; half-sister, Flossy Brown; and half-brother, Clarence Sanford.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Leonard, Tazewell, and Francine Ayers, New Tazewell; sons, Allen (Elizabeth) Bradford, New Castle, Va., Steve (Sally) Bradford, and Glen (Debra) Bradford, all of Harrogate; son-in-law, William Lambert; grandchildren, Wilma and Walter Lambert, Ricky and Raymond Leonard, Carson and Becky Bradford, Jessie Bradford, and Tara Shivers; six step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special nephew, Howard Reynolds, who was like a son to her; niece, Lois Poplawski; great-nephew, Jeff Wilson, whose visits meant so much to her.

Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday with Pastor Bill Chapman and the Rev. Junior Daniels officiating. Music will be by House of God Worship Center singers, Barbara Seals and Lucille Daniels.

Burial will be in the Crane Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kenny Daniels, Butch Seals, Jerry Daniels, L. C. Moyers, Bill Moyers, and Roger Moyers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Ayers, Dennis Sturgil and Mike Poplawski.
