He loved walking, fishing, hunting and helping others. He served in the Navy during World War II. Marion was an inspector at General Motors in Michigan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Wayne Livesay; parents, Robert and Josie Livesay; sister, Grace Money, and several other siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Verda E. Livesay, Rose Hill; sister, Geneva Castellenas, Pennington Gap, Va.; special nephews, Gregory Cannon and Harold Daniels; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Norman Clark officiating.
Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday in the Bradford-Daniels Cemetery in Rose Hill. Those wishing to attend the graveside need to meet at the funeral home by 8:15 to go to the cemetery in procession. Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
