Born December 16, 1963 in Ft. Wayne, Ind., he was the son of the late Pauline Helton Gambrel and Leon Wayne Gambrel, who survives.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Jessie Helton, Eugene Gambrel, Dexter Marie Nadolski and Anthony Nadolski.
He is survived by the following members of his family, wife, Camilla Dawn Powers Gambrel; daughter, Ciara Marie Gambrel; father and step-mother, Wayne and Ruth Gambrel; sister, Teresa Faye Gambrel Powers; nephew, Brenton Douglas Powers; nieces, Amber Danielle Powers, Courtney Brook Powers, Stachia Renee Powers; mother and father-in-law, Caroline and Bobby Powers; and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Padgett presiding. Music will be provided by Teresa Saylor and Amanda Roberts.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the Asher Cemetery in Harrogate, Tenn.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Creech Funeral Home.
