MHS golf team tops Harlan & Harlan Co. in tri-match

The Middlesboro High school golf team continued their winning ways on Wednesday at Sleepy Hollow CC in Cumberland, Ky.

The Jackets went 2-0 for the day as they defeated Harlan and Harlan County.

Middlesboro turned in a team score of 155, Harlan County was second with a 170 and Harlan had a 186.

The Jackets were lead by junior Michael Wilson with a even par 35, senior Jarod Lasley posted a solid 39 and J.P. Maiden had a 40. Tyler Partin and Eric Francis both shot 41.

MHS plays at Crooked Creek on Monday and at Corbin on Tuesday. They will resume play after the Labor Day Holiday.
