On Sept. 11 at 2:30, in the afternoon, the Kentucky Path Chapter, NSDAR will be holding a “Remembering 9/11” ceremony in front of the Middlesboro Fire Dept.
This is to honor the Police and Firefighters that lost their lifes protecting their families, friends and strangers during that horrific event. It is also to thank the men and women now serving our community in this capacity.
We would also request that all community members fly their flags on this day to show the patriotism that was displayed during the weeks following the 9/11/2001 tragedy.
