Civil War and history buffs enjoyed a reenactment of the Battle of Jonesville on Saturday. The event included two “battles” on part of the original battlefield, Union and Confederate memorial services, cavalry, artillery and infantry demonstrations, raffles, and period church services. Several authors were also on hand for the event. Pictured are members of the confederate forces firing into the union troops during one of the battles. Also pictured is the firing of a salute volley by the troops in support of God and Country at the end of the reenactment.
