Dr. Craig L. Ralston, 60 of Knoxville, Tenn., passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Tennova Medical Center, Powell, Tenn.

He was born on March 4, 1952, in Middlesboro to Lillian Anderson Ralston and Adolf Henry Ralston. A 1979 graduate of the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry, he was an Eagle Scout, lake enthusiast and self-taught musician. Dr. Ralston enjoyed outdoor activities including tennis, golf, hunting and fishing. After retirement from his family dental practice and residing in Knoxville, Tenn., he became an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved niece, Keeley K. Hollingsworth; and brother-in-law, Michael T. Moore.

Survivors include his second wife, Andrea Breedlove Ralston, Knoxville,; children, Rebecca Ann Ralston and Mary Beth Ralston; father-in-law, David M. Breedlove and wife Rhonda; mother-in-law, Cathy Gilliam Breedlove; sisters, Ingrid R. Moore, Middlesboro, and Patricia R. Hollingsworth, Lexington; brothers-in-law, Berkeley Hollingsworth, Lexington, and David Matthew Breedlove, Knoxville; nieces, Amanda Lillian Moore and Sarah Lynn Moore, Middlesboro; nephew, Ralston Hall Hollingsworth, Lexington; and a host of other special relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Middlesboro, with Dr. Phil Majors and the Rev. Astor Simpson officiating. Music will be provided by Karen and Larry Blondell, Amanda Moore and Kay Dawn McFarland.

Interment will follow in the Middlesboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Berkeley Hollingsworth, Ralston Hall Hollingsworth, Wesley Baker, Sam A. Mars III, David Matthew Breedlove and Benjamin Hickman III.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, at First Presbyterian Church in Middlesboro.
