David Coleman, 48 of Middlesboro, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care in Hazard.

He was born June 21, 1964, in Easton, Md., and was the son of the late Audrey Jean North Howard and John Patrick Coleman Sr. who survives.

He is survived by the following members of his family: father, John Patrick Coleman Sr. of Centerville, Md.; wife, Marie Coleman of Middlesboro; daughter: Wendy (Brandon) Burroughs, White Pine, Tenn.; son, David (Crystal) Coleman, Scottsboro, Ala.; brothers, John Patrick Coleman Jr., Dover, Del., Roger Rodney Coleman, Williamsburg, Gary Dean (Jennifer) Coleman, Middlesboro, and Brian Keith (Amanda) Rice, Middlesboro; sister, Kristie Michelle (Jason) Simpson, Middlesboro; his grandson and the light of his life, Jaxon Burroughs; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Burroughs presiding.

Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with family members serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Creech Funeral Home.
