On Thursday afternoon, Lee County Sheriff’s Narcotic Investigator A.J. McQueen executed a search warrant along with other officers of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at the residence of Danny Wayne Ridings, age 54.
Upon entry, officers found a baggie containing a white powdery substance; a field test came back positive for cocaine. Officers estimate that there were approximately 39 grams of cocaine; street valuing up to approximately $5,000.
Ridings was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture. He is being held at the Duffield Regional Jail without bond.
