June C. Mills, age 88 of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, in Middlesboro.
She was born in Pineville on December 25, 1923, and was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lucy Hendrickson Partin. June was a member of the Moss Chapel Baptist Church, had retired as cashier for the A & P Grocery in Pineville and was a member of the UFCW Local 227.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim F. Mills; her twin brother, Ben; sisters, Rose Goff and husband Mack, Nell Blackwell and husband Charlie, Betty Park and husband Frank; and brother, Charles Partin.
Survivors include a special nephew, Randall Partin and his wife, Betty; and her step-son, James A. Mills and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Stephen and Brian; sister-in-law, Eva Partin; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Gibson and the Rev. Terrell Gibson presiding.
Burial will follow in the Pineville Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
