The Brother’s in Christ group at Lincoln Memorial University will be holding a campus/community wide “Revolution Revival” in October.
The revival will begin Oct. 7 and run through Oct. 13. Services will start at 7 p.m. nightly and will feature student evangelists. It will also feature music from local churches and groups.
“We will be holding the revival under a tent at the Harrogate Park,” Brother’s in Christ member Chase Mason. “Hopefully we have seating for everyone, but just in case bring a lawn chair with you.”
Mason said the goal of the revival is to share the story of Jesus Christ with the students and community.
“It seems now more than ever we need to turn to God, and this generation of leaders need to start with that foundation’” added Mason.
There is, of course, no charge or fee for the revival but a love offering will be lifted to help support the Brother’s in Christ Ministries throughout the academic year.
“We are working with different groups on campus such as the Hill to help spread the word and get people excited and pumped up for what may be a very life-changing week,” said Mason. “We ask for the communities support and their prayers for this upcoming revival.”
