Beulah M. Charles, age 79 f Ewing, Va.,, was reunited in heaven with her loving husband Finley Charles on Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012. She passed away at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born June 11, 1933, at Varilla, she was the daughter of the late George David Greene and Mary Jane Miracle Greene. A member of the Gibson Station Missionary Baptist Church, she had been employed at the Pineville Community Hospital for 18 years where she deeply enjoyed caring for her patients. She was a loving mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Finley Charles; sisters, Shelby Hembree and Ethel Thompson; and one brother, George Greene Jr.

Left to mourn her passing are the following members of her family: daughters, Dreama (Lee) Fuson and Donna (Gary) Stefek; son, Michael (Susie) Charles; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fuson Reed, Derek (Jennifer) Charles, Whitney Charles and Matthew Fuson; great-granddaughter, Gabriella Reed; two very special caregivers, Erica Brooks and Sandy Vanover; sisters, Irene Skeens, Abbie Carroll and Sue Ballew; a brother, Homer Greene; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Preston Smith and the Rev. Stewart Fultz presiding. Music will be provided by Dennis Howard and Dorothy Buell.

Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Fuson, Gary Stefek, Bill Hembree, Dr. Nitin K. Patel, Food City Pharmacist Doug Redmond and Staff, Middlesboro Hospital Nursing Staff, Respiratory Therapy Staff, CNA’S, Friendship Home Health, Johnny and Betty Roberts, Viola Wilder, Ann Bailey and Linda Goins; and Mrs. James Westmoreland who provided Pine Grove Church services on a CD to her every week for the past several years.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home.
