Bruce Thompson, age 61 of Middlesboro, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1951, in Pineville, and was the son of the late Foley and Lois Greene Thompson. He was a member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Capps Thompson.
He is survived by the following members of his family, two children, Melanie (Kelton) Adams and Christopher (Cindy) Thompson; three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lexie and Abby Thompson; three brothers, David Foley (Pam) Thompson, William Gary (Donna) Thompson and George (Debbie) Thompson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham presiding. Music will be provided by Thomasa Risner.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Creech Funeral Home.
