Billy Ray Collett, 35 of Dayton, formerly of Bell County, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in Dayton. He was born in Pineville on October 14, 1977, a son of Lucy North Simpson and Jimmy Dale Collett. He had been a roofer.

Survivors include his children, Billy Ray Collett, Jr. of Dayton, OH and Mary Colleen Cowell Collett of New Mexico; mother, Lucy North Simpson, father, Jimmy Dale Collett; sister, Sarah Nicole Lawson of Harlan and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Wagner. Music will be by Julie Wagner. Burial will be in the Sizemore Family Cemetery at Arjay with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
