Beginning at 5:30 p.m. today, retired U.S. flags, once brilliant and glorious, will be laid to rest with dignity and respect in a solemn ceremony hosted by the Middlesboro Boy Scout Troop 544 at the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park visitor center flagpole. Everyone, especially veterans, are invited to participate in this Veterans Day ceremony.
