Steve John Frost, 88 of Oneonta, Alabama, passed away on Nov. 23, 2012. He was the son of the late Mallie Keller (Brock) Frost and George Frost. He was a retired chemist teacher. He taught in Bell County for 25 years and was a chief chemist at Y12 Nuclear Plant in Oak Ridge, Tenn. for ten years. He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Kettle Island.
He was an Army vet and enjoyed hunting an fishing. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Boyd Frost; daughter, Susan Frost; son, John Frost; sister, Charlotte Lefevers; and brother, George Frost.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bates of Straight Mountain; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Ken Frost of Tennessee; and daughter-in-law Patty Frost of Straight Mountain.
Lemley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
