The Middlesboro Police Department arrested a man involved in an alleged theft from B&C Machine Shop. Jason Scott Good, 34, of Middlesboro, was arrested on the charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000.

According to the criminal complaint served by Sgt. Joe Holder of the MPD, Good allegedly stole brass gears from B&C Machine Shop. He then allegedly proceeded to sell the gears to Robbins Recycling.

Good was arrested for the charge on Wednesday.

According to the Bell County Detention Center website, Good was also charged with theft by deception. He remained in the detention center late Wednesday in lieu of $1,000 bond.

The detention center website also reported the arrest of a Middlesboro man on drug possession charges.

Jeffery Lewis Langford, 45, was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance. The website noted he was booked at the facility on Wednesday.
