Velma June Barnett Robbins, age 78, Middlesboro, KY, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born August 22, 1934 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Luther Barnett and Bessie Mills Barnett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Harold Barnett.

She is survived by her husband, Cardinal Robbins; two sisters: Phyllis (Mike) Tarbet and Lela Arnett; one brother, Virgil (Betty) Barnett; special care givers, Hospice of the Blue Grass, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Preston Smith and Randy Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Good Cemetery. The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
