Lorene Risner, age 80 of Middlesboro, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Middlesboro ARH. She was born October 16, 1932 in Princeton, W. VA, the daughter of the late Frank Robert and Virgie Lee Denny Jones. She believed in the Holiness Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Lester Risner; 1 sister and 1 brother.

She is survived by the following members of her family: 4 children: Marsha Risner, Dianna Risner, Mitchell Risner and Wanda Risner all of Middlesboro, KY; grandchildren: Carrie Anderson, Melissa Poff, Crystal Butcher, David Allen Phelps, Whitney Risner, Jacqueline Risner, Emmy Risner and Aaron Risner; great grandchildren: Brittney Sparks, Ashley Anderson, Tyler Sanders, Cody Lawson, Zachery Butcher and Bradley Butcher; 2 great-great grandchildren: Cora Yeary and Chloe Nida; 2 sisters: Norma Jean Hawkins and Magnolia Quillen both of Middlesboro, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Elder Jody Risner presiding. Music will be provided by Thomasa Risner. Interment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at the Creech Funeral Home.
