Carrin Sue Craig, 68, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Pineville Community Hospital. Having filled every second of her life with laughter, happiness and love Sue has joined family, friends, and her lord and savior in heaven. She was born on August 27, 1944, daughter of the late George and Nettie Brown. She had been a homemaker and provided child care for friends and family. She was a believer in the Baptist faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. She lived with a passion for crocheting and love of reading. I have fought the good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Frank Hood; husband, Ike Craig; siblings, brothers B.P, J.B, Poe and Douglas “Mack” Brown; sisters Ruby Baker, Ann Howard, Georgia Craig, Rosa Ling and Josie Brummett.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Danny and Donna Green of Corbin, Eldon and Nannette Brown of Warner-Robins, GA; grand-daughters, Danielle Brooke Green and Laura Shelby Green of Corbin; sister, Ollie Hoskins Napier; brothers, Dave and George Finley Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends left to mourn her passing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday January 12, 2013 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Freeman Clark and Rev. Jeff Craig. Burial will be in Alva Memorial Gardens, Blackstar KY.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Moore, Danny Green, Eldon Brown, Joe Brown Jr., Mickey Stewart, J.P Miracle, John Robert Miracle and George Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Scalf, Lester Bingham and all the staff that serves the residents on first floor at Pineville Community Hospital. Music will be provided by Blackstar Pentecostal Church singers.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday January 11, 2013 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, which is honored to be serving Craig Family. Guestbook at www.brooksdurhamfuneralhome.com
