The annual Miss Southeast Pageant will be held Feb. 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Edsel Godbey Appalachian Center located on the Cumberland campus of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College.
Applications are now being accepted for contestants, and the winner, who will represent SKCTC at the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival in May, will receive a $1,000 one-semester scholarship to attend the college. Contestants must be enrolled full-time and have at least a 2.5 grade point average and have never been married nor have had a child.
Pageant applications are available at an admissions office located on each of the five SKCTC campuses in Harlan, Cumberland, Whitesburg, Middlesboro and Pineville.
