Logan Marcum, 17 of Harrogate, TN., was called home Monday Feb. 4, 2013 to be with our Heavenly Father. He was born October 4, 1995 in Middlesboro, KY. He was the son of Kevin Grant Marcum and Jennifer Lynn Vanover Marcum. He was baptized in the Baptist Faith and was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Logan was a Junior at Cumberland Gap High School and a teammate of the Panthers Baseball Team. He also loved to fish and hunt.
He was preceded in death by 3 great grandparents: Icia Vanover, Artman Vanover, Esco Nash; and great uncle: Danny Fredrick.
Survivors Include: father: Kevin (Angela) Marcum; mother: Jennifer (Kenny) Price; 2 very special sisters: Amber (James) Dean, Harlee Marcum (Derrick Miracle); 2 special sisters: Devin and Ryleigh Marcum; 2 brothers: Buddy and Parker Price; grandparents: Bob and Helen Marcum; his beloved papaw and mamaw: Ronnie and Sharon Vanover; 1 niece: Cali Miracle; 3 nephews: Bentley, Braxton and Braylon Dean; 1 special aunt: Trish (Chris) Cobb best friends: Maci Adkins and Jacob Ayers.
He will be sadly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Partin and Wilburn Guy presiding. Music by the Partin Family. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will be his baseball friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home.
