MANCHESTER — KY 2394, the Dorton Branch Road in Pineville, will be closed intermittently beginning March 4 and concluding on April 1.
The closures will be necessary to allow crews to repair damage caused by slides. Flaggers will be on site to provide traffic control while work is in progress. Motorists should be prepared for delays.
Crews will return in early May, once asphalt plants have re-opened, to re-pave portions of the highway surface impacted by this project.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
