Diana V. Johnson, 64 of Harrogate, TN. The Lord called an Angel home on Wednesday Feb. 27, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Hospital after a brief illness. She was born May 7, 1948 at Pontiac, MI., a daughter of the late William and Anna Crawford Ostrander. She was a member of Our Father’s House Church. She was dedicated to Christ and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Diana was a beautiful woman with a huge heart and a kind soul. She will sorely missed by many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Candice Ann Hoffmeyer.
Survivors include: husband of 44 years: Howard Johnson, Jr. of Harrogate, TN.; 3 sons: Howard Johnson III of Harrogate, TN., David E. Johnson of Nashville, TN. and Adam R. Johnson of Harrogate, TN.; daughter: Averill J. Johnson of Tazewell, TN.; grandchildren: Mitchell, Stephanie, Dylan, Riley, Caleb, and Adysen; great granddaughter: Savannah.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Odie Carroll presiding. Music by: Wanda Carroll and Mark Ross. Interment will follow at the Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Todd Smith, Mitchell Brooks, Wesley Thompson, Shane Hatfield, Curtis Johnson, Jr., Lyndon Johnson, Ed Brooks, Scott Harvey, Ernest Johnson, and Curtis Johnson, Sr. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses.
