Jaquia Q. “Jackie” Jackson, 61, of Pineville, KY, passed away Friday March 1, at the Middlesboro ARH. She was born May 25, 1951 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late Damon Layne and Kathleen Johnson Layne who survives.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 1 sister: Ellen Hatfield.
She is survived by the following members of his family: mother: Kathleen Layne; husband: Wallace Jackson; 3 children: Dallas Petrey, Mark Petrey and Kathleen Brown; 5 brothers: J.C. Layne, Damon Layne Jr., Albert Layne, Terry Layne and Bill Layne; 4 sisters: Carol Webb, Jean Beuke, Darlene Jordan and Pamela Johnson; grandchildren: Sterling Petrey, Dakota Brown, Brianna Petrey, Jackson Petrey, Dawson Brown, Mark Petrey II, Jordyan Petrey and Christopher Petrey; special son-in-law: John Brown; special sister-in-law: Teresa Miracle; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Miracle presiding.
Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, at the Creech Funeral Home.
