Dr. William Bass, a world-renowned forensic anthropologist and Professor Emeritus of the University of Tennessee’s Forensic Anthropology Program, spoke at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duke Hall Tuesday evening. He shared highlights of several cases with the large crowd that was composed of students, faculty, staff and the public. Bass also answered several questions from the audience.

Dr. William Bass signed books and posed for photos following a speaking engagement in Harrogate, Tenn., on Tuesday. As one of the founders of the famous “Body Farm” at the University of Tennessee, he is a much sought after speaker, even after his retirement 15 years ago. He is also the author of several books, both fiction and non-fiction. The “Body Farm” was made famous mainly after author Patricia Cornwell used it as inspiration for one of her popular books in the “Kay Scarpetta” series.
