Edward (Ed) Wayne Vanover, age 70, formally of Middlesboro, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Golden Living Center in Foley, Alabama on March 2nd.
Ed is survived by his mother, Ethel Vanover Hoskins of Middlesboro; wife for 26 years, Peggy; daughter, Vanessa (Loren) Hatfield; stepsons, Rhawn (Becky and son Christopher) Rider and Mark (Gwen and sons Jonathon and Daniel) Rider; sister, Geneva Raines; brothers, Johnny Vanover and AC (Janet) Vanover; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Vanover; stepfather, Julius Hoskins; brother-in-law, Kenneth Raines and nephew, Bill Raines.
A private memorial service will be held March 12th in Spanish Fort, Alabama. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Alzheimer’s Research at (https://www.alzinfo.org/donate) or your favorite charity.
