Virgil Wilder, 76, of Pathfork, KY, passed away Friday, April 11, 2013 when God called home one of his most faithful soldiers. He was born May 27, 1936 at Mill Creek, KY. He was a member of the Blackstar Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son: Harvey Wilder; a granddaughter: Jessica Marie Wilder; 3 sisters: Francis Brock, Carolyn Sue Green and Mary Hendrickson; 1 brother: Harold Wilder.
He is survived by the following members of his family: wife: Pauline Wilder of Pathfork, KY; 3 children: Virgil (Flora) Wilder, Jr. of Molus, KY, Clara (Darrell) McIntosh of Wallins Creek, KY and Donna Wilder of Wallins Creek, KY; grandchildren: Wesley (Jamie) Wilder, Daniel and Rebecca McIntosh, Samantha and Charles Turner; 1 great granddaughter: Carly Grace Wilder; half sisters and brother: Hazel Howard, Wanda Boley, Pauline Tipton and Nathanel Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church with the Rev. J.C. Craig and Rev. Jeff Craig presiding.
Music will be provided by the church singers.
Interment will follow in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork, KY.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
