Floyd Neal Janeway, 81, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at Tri State Manor in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Floyd was employed with Coca Cola Company for 25 years. He was a deacon at Chadwell Station Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict. He was a 50 year member of the Martin Station Masonic Lodge in Rose Hill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Lee Janeway; son, Terry Neal Janeway; daughter, Patricia Janeway and parents, Fred and Celeste Farmer Janeway.
He is survived by: two sons: Jody Janeway and wife, Deanna of Ewing, VA, Michael Janeway and wife, Karen of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren: Sara Madison Janeway, Michael Logan Janeway, Crystal Wilson-Davis, Heather Littrell and Coty Littrell; three great grandchildren: Nathan, Hayden and Colton; brother: Johnny Janeway of Ewing, VA; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday (April 18, 2013) at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill, Virginia.
Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jim Blevins officiating.
Military graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday (April 19, 2013) at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY. with VFW posts of Big Stone Gap, Norton, and Coeburn along with the Virginia National Guard Honor Teams in charge of military rites. Those wishing to go to the cemetery in procession are requested to meet at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill, Virginia by 10 a.m.
