Michael Wade Bryant, 39, of Middlesboro, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Arjay. He was born in Middlesboro on March 22, 1974, a son of Barbara Sue Saylor Long and the late Wade Bryant. He believed in the Holiness faith and had been a surface miner. He worked with his father hauling gravel and doing dozier work and they provided this great service to many people. He was a very special and loving son to his mother.
Survivors include his mother and her husband, Barbara and Garry Long; beloved sister, Tracy Gent and husband, Tim; nieces, Myra and Megan Gent; special aunts, Sheila Saylor and Vickie Surgener; special uncles, Ricky and Wayne Saylor and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Saylor Crockett Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins, Rev. Demus Couch, Rev. Jordan Lee Saylor, Rev. Richard Asher and Rev. Garry W. Long. Music will be by Emma Brummett, Sheila Saylor, Vickie Surgener, Anna Bell Shackleford, McKinley Holland and Jerry Holland. Burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery at Simms Fork. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and after 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Crockett Saylor Pentecostal Church.
