Herman L. Hatfield, 80, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, May 12, at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. He was born March 31, 1933 in Valley Creek, TN, the son of the late Jake and Nancy Sharp Hatfield.

He was a believer in the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brothers: Charles, Sherman and Russell Hatfield, Sisters: Evelyn Jackson, Ethel Hunley and May Hatfield, 1 Grandson: Brandon Fuson.

He is survived by the following members of his family: the mother of his children: Betty “Joyce” Hatfield; Sons: Wayne Hatfield, Randall Hatfield, Scott Hatfield and Arthur Hatfield; Daughters: Debra Williams Baker, Donna (Mike) Coats, Penny (Tim) Welch; Brother: Arthur “Shotgun” Hatfield; Sister: Ruth Jane Hatfield; 28 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Audie Miracle presiding.

Music will be provided by Kenny Goodin.

Interment services will be private.

His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
