Born October 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Chester R. and Cornelia E. DeYoung. She was a member of Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church in Middlesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn, Roberta, and Donna.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Pillion of Tazewell; son, Brad (Wendy) Pillion of Big Springs Union; brothers, Gordon and Randal, both of Lafayette, Ind.; sisters, Mildred of Texas and Debborah of Logans Port, Ind.; grandsons, Daniel and Eli; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service was conducted Monday, April 27, at 8 p.m. at Reece Valley Chapel.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will received friends from 6-8 at Reece Funeral Home.
