FRAKES — Delois June King, age 59, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky., after a long illness.

Born July 10, 1950, at Frakes, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Edward Hurst and Lillian Levada Bray Hurst. She has truly been an inspiration to all who have known her and will be remembered for her love, kindness, and humble spirit that made her who she was. She will be sadly missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harrison Hurst, Julius Hurst and Edward Hurst; and one sister, Grace Hamblin.

Survivors include the following: her loving husband of 37 years, Troy King of Frakes; sisters, Dora Partin of Frakes, Opal Hamblin of Frakes, Darlene Reeves of Speedwell, Tenn., and Eula (Herschel) Helton of Williamsburg, Ky.; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Hurst of Frakes, and Phyllis Hurst of Clairfield, Tenn.; special niece, Tammy Rutherford of Speedwell, Tenn.; amd And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bernely Lambdin presiding. Music will be provided by her niece, Tammy Rutherford.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sunnyview Cemetery in Frakes. Pallbearers will be Mark Rutherford, Eddie Hurst, Tommy Hurst and other family members.

Memorials are suggested to the Creech Funeral Home to help pay for funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel.

Creech Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangments
