PINEVILLE — Phillip Lee Partin Jr., age 58, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at a family member’s home on Big Clear Creek.

Born in Pineville on September 12, 1951, he was the son of the late Phillip Lee “Cotton” and Flo Ella Hampton Partin. He had operated a salvage yard for many years.

Survivors include his son, Steve Partin and wife Lori of Flat Lick; grandchildren, Presley Rae Partin and Steven Lukas Partin of Flat Lick; brother, Bronell Partin Sr. of Pineville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Fuson Chapel Cemetery on Little Clear Creek with Rev. Bill Gibson presiding.

Cremation services were under the direction of the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Partin family. Light a virtual candle and sign the on-line guestbook at www.arnettsteele.com.
