PINEVILLE — Geraldine Wilson Miracle, age 75, went home to be the Lord on Wednesday April 21, 2010. She passed away at Britthaven Nursing Home.

Born March 7, 1935, in Bell County, she was the daughter of the late Ewing Wilson and Bertha Jones Wilson. She was of the Baptist faith, and loved her Lord Jesus Christ. A lifetime homemaker, she raised seven children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Nathaniel Miracle; brother, Thomas Bronell Wilson, and an infant brother, Eugene Wilson.

Survivors include her sister, Iva Mae Wilson Sutton; brother, Harold Wilson; sons, Nathaniel Roger Miracle of Pineville, Hobert Wayne Miracle of Pineville, Ewing E. and Myrna Wilder Miracle of Pineville, Bobby Ray and Sharon Miracle of Pineville, Terry Keith and Linda Miracle of Livonia, Mich., and Ronald Miracle of Pineville; daughter, Deana Ann and Dennis Miracle of Pineville;17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; honorary daughter, Connie Miracle; special friend, Dr. C. A. Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Kenneth Robbins and the Rev. David Matthew Miracle presiding. Music will be by Mickey Wilder.

Interment will follow in the Turner Cemetery at Colmar. Pallbearers will be James C. Gambrel, Thomas (Matthew) Miracle, Andrew Miracle, Kevin Miracle, Thomas N. Wilson, Doyle Brock, Dennis Miracle and Jim Miracle.

The family of Ms. Miracle will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Creech Funeral Home.

Creech Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangments.

I remember we used to get change from the piggy bank every summer and walk to her store for the ice cold bottles of coke. That's one of the best memories of my childhood. I won't forget that. Thank you Geraldine.

Geraldine was a wonderful person. She will be missed. I remember when I was a little boy she would let me come to her house on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons on the TV. You don't forget kindness, and she always made me feel welcome. God bless and help the family in their time of grief.
