Fortunately, no one was injured in a two-car collision on Fourmile in Pineville Monday afternoon.

Around 4:30 p.m. a man was driving west on Fourmile in a red Ford Ranger, then pulled onto the side of the road, turned around and made a left in the pathway of another driver.

A young woman in a green Ford Focus was headed west on the same road, and the vehicles collided as the other driver attempted to pull onto the road.

“He didn’t see her or thought he could beat her or something and pulled out in front of her,” Bell County Deputy Kyle Dunn explained.

The wreck caused severe damage to the front of the Focus and left the truck missing a wheel and bumper. Both cars were towed from the scene; neither driver sought medical attention.
