Stella Mae Nash Daniel, age 87, Cumberland Gap, Tenn., passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born in Middlesboro on June 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Nash and Dosie Thompson Nash. She was of the Holiness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Daniel; second husband, Charlie McVey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Margaret Daniel; brothers, Charlie Nash and Grover Nash; and sisters, Dorothy Smith, Genevia Hill, Roxie Hill and Mary Helen Partin.

She is survived by her children, Walter Leon Daniels, Cora Mae Turner (Alves Jack), Carolyn Sue Lamb (Howard), Sterling Daniels (Jeanette), Terry Daniels, Larry Dean Daniels (Sarah), Gary Lynn Daniels (Marie), Omega Kay Lamb (Charles), Patricia A. Bishop (Robert) and Judy Adkins (Eddie); sisters, Della Jean Evans, Connie Smith and Minnie Partin; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, June 17, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bannister officiating.

Burial will be in the Daniel Cemetery in Harrogate, Tenn. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
