Billie Jean Miracle, 86 of Middlesboro, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin.
Born July 5, 1925, in Middlesboro, she was the daughter of the late James and Martha Edna Smith Thompson. She was a member of the Calvin Primitive Baptist Church and had been an LPN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Mary Jo Ann Hall and William Hubert Miracle Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by the following members of her family: two sisters, Anna Geraldine Thompson and June Cave; one brother, Paul Thompson; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren andtwo great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Kenneth Robbins presiding.
Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John, Danny, Justin, Joshua and Darrell Hall.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, June 18, at the Creech Funeral Home.
