Madeline Everest, age 87 a long time resident of Dallas, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, following an extended illness.

Ms. Everest was a native of Fork Ridge, Tenn., and had also lived in Middlesboro, but always considered “Big D” as her home. She was the daughter of the late Sam Mont and Grace Bell Williams Mullins.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Paris, Earl, Paul, and Clyde (known as “Moon”) Mullins; two sisters, Mildred Pierce and Effie Moore; and the love of her life, Alan C. Everest.

She is survived by her sister, Winifred Krall, West Chester, Penn.; her brother in-law and sister-in-law, Andy and Bonnie Everest of Arlington, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Everest served as a volunteer for more than 25 years at the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. An avid Dallas Cowboy fan, she loved to play bridge and belonged to a bridge group for many years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who knew and loved her.

No memorial service is planned. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Allen Funeral Home, 508 Masters Avenue, Wylie TX 75098.

Arrangements by Allen Funeral Home.
