Karen “Susie” Lee, 52 of Miracle, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Claiborne County Hospital in Tazewell, Tenn.

She was born March 9, 1960, in Pineville, and was the daughter of the late John L. and Goldie Cox Boatright.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Boatright and Claude “Bimbo” Boatright; nieces: Olivia Gibbons and Amanda Joe Starcher; mother and father-in-law, Clara and Harry Lee.

She is survived by the following members of her family: her husband of 30 years, Jerry Edward Lee of Miracle; daughter, Jenny Lee (Scott) of Miracle; sons, Jerry Lee Jr. of Lexington and Jason Lee (Kristy) of LaGrange; the best granddaughter ever, Emmy Grace; brothers, J.L. (Liz) Boatright of Miracle, Dallas (Ruth) Boatright of New Haven, Ind., Darrell (Elma) Boatright of Miracle and Jimmy (Sheila) Boatright of Harrogate, Tenn.; sisters: Marti (Bert) Gibbons of Miracle, Lisa Boatright (Ron Preston) of Miracle and Shonda (Rodney) Gray of Barbourville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis (Martin) Miracle of Miracle and Harry Jr. (Barbara) Lee of Pontiac, Mich.; special friends, Mike and Jan Bierman of LaGrange, Lesa Lee of Miracle and Teresa Green of Miracle; and a host loving nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to count.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Hawkins and the Rev. David Gibbons presiding. Music will be provided by the Whipple Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in the Cubbage Cemetery at Cubbage. Pallbearers will be Charles Wayne Boatright, Stephen Boatright, P.C. Green, Joe Miracle, Mike Beirman and Tim Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Talmadge V. Hays.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Creech Funeral Home.
